This is the story of my life, from being the victim of bullying, which made me a target of a rapist, through the neurosis of my early adulthood to self-discovery and redemption. Over time, bullies can affect the very nature of how you perceive self-worth that in the end living beyond my bullies meant surviving my greatest bully— me. This is a mirror to the experiences of so many men and women, who have been, or are still being, tormented. It shows how temporary acts of bullying can have dramatic consequences for years after the torment ends. It shows how well meaning church going people caused pain, and how an atheist brought me back to God.
